Malda, West Bengal – In a commendable operation, Malda District Police successfully rescued a missing minor girl from Chhatarpur in Madhya Pradesh and safely reunited her with authorities in Malda.
The case originated at Bhutni Police Station after a complaint was lodged regarding the disappearance of the minor. Following thorough investigation, a police team achieved a significant breakthrough on January 7, 2026, locating and rescuing the girl from Chhatarpur.
After completing all necessary legal formalities, the minor was brought back to Malda. She has been handed over to the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Malda, for safe custody, counseling, and further rehabilitation.
The operation highlights the dedication of Malda Police in addressing cases of missing children and ensuring their safe recovery.
