New Delhi, February 9, 2026 – Union Minister for Electronics & Information Technology, Railways, and Information & Broadcasting, Ashwini Vaishnaw, today held a productive meeting with United States Ambassador to India, Sergio Gor, to deepen strategic cooperation between the two nations.

The discussions centred on key areas of mutual interest, including semiconductors, electronics manufacturing, and supply chain resilience. The ministers also explored strong U.S. participation in the upcoming AI Impact Summit 2026.

Sharing details of the meeting on X (formerly Twitter), Minister Vaishnanw wrote: “Good meeting with Sergio Gor, U.S. Ambassador to India. Discussed strengthening our strategic ties, with a focus on semiconductors, electronics manufacturing and supply chain resilience. Look forward to strong participation from the U.S. in the AI Impact Summit 2026.”
