Future-Proofing India: C-DOT and Synergy Quantum Partner to Launch AI Tool for Quantum Security

Ms. Shikha Srivastava, EVP, C-DOT and Team with delegation from Synergy Quantum

New Delhi, February 14, 2026 — In a major step toward securing the nation’s digital infrastructure, the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) has signed an agreement with Synergy Quantum India to develop an automated tool that detects “quantum-vulnerable” cryptographic algorithms. This initiative, under the National Quantum Mission, aims to protect critical sectors like defense, banking, and telecommunications from future quantum computing threats.

The project will build an integrated tool to scan digital devices and identify the specific cryptographic mechanisms they use. Key functions include:

  • Vulnerability Detection: Automatically identifies security flaws that could be broken by quantum computers.

  • Classification: Clearly distinguishes between “quantum-safe” and “quantum-vulnerable” algorithms.

  • Migration Planning: Generates detailed reports highlighting the exact location of vulnerabilities to support a smooth transition to quantum-safe standards.

The solution features three core modules: a Web Application for external network traffic scanning, a Security Scanner Agent for internal endpoint and container security, and Control Software to manage scans and aggregate data into unified reports.

This collaboration combines C-DOT’s R&D depth with Synergy Quantum’s expertise in post-quantum cryptography to deliver a commercially deployable solution. By enabling early detection of cryptographic weaknesses, India is positioning itself as a global leader in maintaining technological sovereignty in the quantum era.
