PM Modi in 131st Mann Ki Baat: ‘AI Impact Summit a Turning Point, World Stunned by India’s Innovations’
New Delhi, February 22, 2026 — Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation today in the 131st episode of his monthly radio broadcast, Mann Ki Baat. The Prime Minister heavily focused on the transformative power of emerging technologies, social awareness, and India’s evolving cultural identity.
India’s AI Capabilities Stun the World
Reflecting on the recently concluded AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi, PM Modi declared the event a “turning point in how the world will use the power of AI in the future”.
The Prime Minister shared that global leaders and tech CEOs were visibly impressed by India’s grassroots application of Artificial Intelligence. At the summit’s exhibition, PM Modi highlighted two specific use cases that captivated international delegates:
AI in Agriculture: The AMUL booth demonstrated how AI is assisting dairy workers in monitoring their livestock and managing their businesses 24×7.
Preserving Heritage: Foreign dignitaries were amazed to see how AI is being leveraged to translate, digitize, and preserve ancient Indian texts and historical data.
A Push for ‘Zero Defect’ Manufacturing
Addressing innovators and startups, PM Modi emphasized the urgent need for world-class quality. He urged Indian manufacturers to aim for zero-defect products, stating that India must produce goods and services that command global respect and strengthen the nation’s position as a hub of innovation.
A Heartfelt Plea for Organ Donation
In a highly emotional segment of the broadcast, the Prime Minister remembered Aalin Sherin Abraham, an innocent little girl from Kerala who recently passed away.
“There is no greater sorrow for any parent than losing one’s own child,” PM Modi said. He praised Aalin’s parents for their immense courage in donating her organs, thereby giving the gift of life to others. The Prime Minister noted that awareness regarding organ donation is steadily increasing across the country, alongside a vital boost in medical research.
Cyber Security and Cultural Pride
Shifting to public safety, PM Modi once again cautioned citizens about the rising threat of “Digital Arrests” and cyber fraud, noting that while awareness has grown since his previous warnings, scammers continue to exploit people. He urged citizens to remain vigilant and properly follow KYC procedures.
The broadcast concluded with a reflection on India’s cultural resurgence. Recalling his ‘Panch-Pran’ (five resolves) shared during the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, PM Modi stated that India is successfully leaving behind the mentality and symbols of slavery. He encouraged citizens to engage with their heritage, specifically mentioning the upcoming Rajaji Festival at Rashtrapati Bhavan, which will run from February 24 to March 1.
