Siliguri, February 5, 2026 – The Matigara Police Station team under the Siliguri Police Commissionerate has successfully recovered a motorcycle stolen from Matigara Bazar on October 8, 2025, and arrested the suspect involved.

Acting on a tip-off, officers apprehended Md Serip, a 28-year-old resident of Chopra in Uttar Dinajpur district, on February 4, 2026. The stolen vehicle, a blue Hero Glamour motorcycle, was found in his possession in Chopra.

A photo released by the police shows the arrested individual, with his face blurred, standing alongside several officers and the recovered motorcycle.

The investigation remains ongoing, as announced in an official post by the Siliguri Police Commissionerate on X.
