Election Commission Publishes Final Voter List for West Bengal
Siliguri, March 1, 2026 — The Election Commission of India (ECI) has officially published the final voter list for West Bengal. The release marks the conclusion of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process and formalizes the electoral roll ahead of upcoming elections in the state.
Finalization After Supreme Court Order
This publication follows the release of an incomplete final list earlier this week, which was issued in compliance with a Supreme Court directive. That previous list categorized approximately 60 lakh voters under “Adjudication,” pending verification by judicial officers. With the final publication, the status of these pending entries has been officially resolved, locking in the total number of eligible voters.
According to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of West Bengal, all successfully verified voters are now permanently included in this final roll, while unverified or ineligible entries have been formally removed.
How to Access the Final List
The finalized electoral roll is now available for public access across both digital and physical platforms.
Citizens can verify their enrollment status online through:
The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) West Bengal website (ceowestbengal.nic.in)
The Election Commission of India Voters Portal (voters.eci.gov.in)
The official Voter Helpline Mobile App
For offline verification, physical copies of the final voter list have been made available at the offices of District Magistrates, Sub-Divisional Officers (SDOs), and Block Development Officers (BDOs) across the state. Copies have also been distributed to all recognized political parties.
