New Delhi – Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nitin Nabin took oath as the party’s new national president today, marking a significant transition in the ruling party’s organizational leadership.

The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior party leaders. At 45, Nitin Nabin is the youngest leader ever to hold the post of BJP national president. He is the son of the late BJP leader and former MLA Nabin Kishore Prasad Sinha.

Nitin Nabin is an undefeated five-time MLA from the Bankipur Assembly Constituency in Bihar. Known for his electoral strength, he won his first bypoll in 2006 by nearly 60,000 votes, and his latest term last year by more than 51,000 votes.

This appointment highlights a new chapter for the BJP, with Nabin’s youth and proven track record expected to bring fresh energy to the party’s national operations. Party members and observers have welcomed the change, viewing it as a step toward engaging younger voters and strengthening grassroots efforts.
