Raiganj, January 20, 2026 – In a quick and effective operation, Raiganj Police recovered a stolen four-wheeler and arrested one suspect just hours after the theft was reported, showcasing their prompt response to vehicle crimes in the area.
The incident began on January 18, when a resident from Bihar filed a complaint at Raiganj Police Station about his missing vehicle. A joint team from Raiganj PS and Raiganj Town Traffic sprang into action, tracing the stolen car to the Itahar PS area. They successfully retrieved it and nabbed the accused in a short time.
Raiganj Police District shared details of the recovery on social media, highlighting their commitment to swift justice. The vehicle was found intact, though showing signs of use, such as mud on the tires and minor scratches.
